It was such a beautiful sunny day. As usual I drove around and ended up in my most favorite place .. The Pike Market. Rows of colorful flowers combined with rows of vegetables and other colorful food items has turned this market into a little wonderland. So every Saturday I go there and buy fresh veggies, fresh beautiful flowers, and yes of course fish; Sturgeon and White Alaskan Salmon..........:) pretty expensive for a pound of each but, it worth every penny. I just love to shop in this market. Oh yes the hand made cheese shop..yes hand made...don't ask me what it means but this store has the best cheese one can imagine..:) not to mention the little winery which is adjacent to the cheese shop.
While shopping you can listen to the music of the street performers, and wonder at the magical treaks of the magician. If you feel like resting, you can take a very short walk to the lake side and enjoy the relaxed colorful atmosphere of that hilly grass field, while looking at Mount Rainier which majestically is showing off his high peaks covered with white snow.........
Yes if Heaven would've had a market for the angels to shop, then that market would have looked like the Pike Market..............
I was resting on the green grass and enjoying every bit of that moment, and then suddenly I looked up and truly and whole heartedly thanked God.....:) and decided this place is too good to move and leave....no I will stay in this town..I can't go anywhere else..How can I not walk along the Pioneer Square and see those beautiful art galleries and antique shops? How can I not go to a bar which is 80 year old and sit on those old bitten chairs and not enjoy my coffee? no no I am used to my solaced, quiet, peaceful place........I no longer feel lonely. Hard times are behind me and now it is time to enjoy my life and my new home..........:)
